The Bars

2009, video
The video shows the relation between the Church and homosexuality through the real confession between me and the priest. The confession was recorded on a voice recorder and joined with the video of the church in post-production. The video starts with a view of the cross. Slow-ly, as we are approaching the subject of homosexuality, the camera zooms out and in the end the viewer sees the whole interior of the church through the bars. I leave without absolution and the barrier between the Church and the homosexuals stands still.
